Durant to debut with Suns vs Hornets
Durant has been out since suffering a sprained MCL in his right knee on Jan. 8. He participated in an intense two-hour workout and practice game with Phoenix last week, but did not play in Sunday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Suns obtained the 13-time All-Star in a deal with the Brooklyn Nets before the trade deadline earlier this month.
Durant is averaging nearly 30 points per game while shooting 55.9% from the field. He joins a Suns team that is 0.5 games ahead of the LA Clippers for the No. 4 spot in the Western Conference.
